Use "Knobman" knobs in Max/Msp

Is anybody here familiar with Knobman?

I've been trying to replace my device's stock [live.dial] knobs with customized knobs taken from Knobman.
Before doing my own, I downloaded some from the Knobgallery. However the images are loaded unproperly within [pictctrl]; everything is made of blurred lines. When I set the control type to "dial" in the inspector it goes a bit better.

Please refer to this thread from 2014, as I seem to have the same problem of the guy who started it.
Some help would be greatly apreciated!

You need the pics in a horizontal allignment. it's long ago that I used it but isn't knobman saving files which work out-of-the-box in pictctrl? My knob files still seem to work. (set num of pics to 128 for the dials)

Thanks for your reply!
In my case, it saves them vertically.
Is it something that I can do in Max?

if required, rotate light(s) for 90º, then render, then rotate canvas in photoshop.

==horizontal row.
