I've been trying to use the new Waves NX head trackers in Max. ( 

https://www.waves.com/plugins/nx#introducing-nx-virtual-mix-room

The Waves NX plugin is passing signal but when I send an Open to the [vst~] the GUI comes up as a black window. If I click in the right spots it responds, but I can't see a bunch of the parameters (and they aren't automatable so I can't set them with Max messages).

The plugin works under Windows 10 in Max (but the trackers have known bugs with Windows), and it works fine in Reaper in Mac OS 10.14 on the same machine that it doesn't work in Max.

Edit - this seems to be a problem will all Waves plugins, I downloaded a few demos and all of them render with the same black window for a GUI.

Has anyone else seen this behavior with Waves plugins? Any ideas for a fix?
