What is another way to make this. Webcam + motion detection + sound

Hi, I am new to max7! Please help~ I usually don't like to ask but...

I am trying to make a patcher that uses a live web camera. When you move closer to the camera, it will react because of the detection and/or sound waves. I also want to use little clips that will react the same way was the live camera. The clips will be coming in different timing though (Example: Play the clip in 1 minute).

Please help, my assignment is due in 2-3 days and all I've done is set up my camera using jit.grab
