Is there a working way to track changes in drum rack - chains without having to specify the path to each of the chains? 

Or at least a way to avoid doing it manually to make the patch easier? 

Because if I don't do this, changes are observed only on the last device in the chains :(

I don't understand what the problem could be. I have a regex that works great on the regex builder site, but in my patch it doesn't work quite right, ignoring some matches.

I found a free max4live sequencer and would like to add a feature that allows me to save multiple sequencing pattern setups

Later, I would like to add other features (playing sequences backwards for example, controlling the velocity, etc.).

The objective being to have unprecedented professional gameplay, I would like to find a collaborator to work on the development of this virtual machine.

In the end, I would like the sequencer to resemble that of an hardware device, a groove box like Elektron Digitatk, but much better :) and that it would be very easy to edit the patterns in Ableton Live.

If you know of a more complete free sequencer, please let me know. It will be easier to develop one from this one.

Ps: I like the gameplay the above max4live device, inspired by Elektron, but we cannot do automation in Ableton Live. That is to say that you cannot save the settings of different patterns or modulate the parameters of the different patterns in the arrangement view of Ableton Live.

Hello, is it possible to do dynamic text transformation using random characters when moving from one text to another? Something similar to the tex effect in the movie "The Matrix".

For example: the message "Hello World" when clicked will be changed to "I love you", during the animation each letter of the message can be random, or a number until the transition ends.

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to extract the key from the file name, bypassing all min/maj characters, but allowing # and b. 

A couple of file name examples: sample_F#_one_shot.wav of sample_oneshot_F#maj.wav

I came up with a 2 step system using [regexp]. In the first step I find the key with symbols around it, for example: 

Something like: [regexp (?:[^a-gA-G#b]|^)([A-G](?:#|b)?(?:m(?:in(?:or)?)?|M(?:aj(?:or)?)?))(?:[^a-zA-Z#bd]|$)]

The second step is to simply get rid of all the characters, leaving only # and b in the key using another [regexp].

Problem: In the first step I am unable to achieve high accuracy in isolating the key with symbols. 

Question: Perhaps there is an easier way to do this?

I'm new in the thrilling world of M4L and I recently learned how to use the "path this_device canonical_parent" to apply a M4L patch on its current track.

I'd like to know how can I select the track just below ?

Bonus question : I have a patch running to be sure a track is unmute at the begining of a song. On the same track I've got an IAC driver routine combined with a note in a midi clip which tell the playhead to go back to the previous locator (for looping purpose in live condition). It seems that there is a conflict between the M4L patch and the IAC Driver midi instruction because the loop is not functionnal when the patch is on. If I desactivate the patch, the loop works fine.

That's why I moved the patch on a previous midi track and therefore asked for a way to select the next track instead of setting the track id manually (which can be pretty annoying If I had a track above, resulting in an offset of the track number).

I have been working on a solution to a midi hardware problem with the popular SP-404 mkii & I have nearly completed my task. I am wondering if anyone can help me by re-creating an ableton native plugin - the Midi Effect > Pitch with some alterations. I would like the knob that usually changes the pitch by + or - 1st at a time to change the pitch by + 15st per click instead. I am also hoping this knob can start at 0 & only go up in value as negative pitch is not needed for this fix I am creating. I think there may be a way to remove the "range" & "lowest" portion of the original ableton plug-in as well as long as the midi note value starts at the same octave as the original Pitch plugin starts when the knob is at neutral 0. If you are interested please let me know the cost & turnaround time as well as any questions you may have. Thanks kindly for your time.
