Hello! I would love to know if someone could help me to modify an existing M4L device (Here: 

https://maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=4123#25440

) to allow it to update its parameters to reflect the state of the synth, after a program change. It currently shows changes when tweaking a knob, but doesn't "snap" to those knob's actual settings upon changing a patch.

Is this even possible? I am an absolute neophyte when it comes to programming and realize this may not be something I can implement myself but would love to have some help. Would even be willing to pay someone to create/edit this for me!

Wondering if someone can expose the parameters of a few M4L devices so that they can be controlled in Push 3 Standalone.  I’m happy to pay for the service.  There are 3 devices possibly 2 functions each with 8-16 parameters per function.  They are the 3 Expert Sleepers devices by mrkarlos on maxforlive.com.  Would be happy to pay mrkarlos himself but am unable to contact him (devices are licensed under “Attribution”)  For the right person I imagine this is 30 min of work.  I tried to follow this tutorial (

Is there a working way to track changes in drum rack - chains without having to specify the path to each of the chains? 

Or at least a way to avoid doing it manually to make the patch easier? 

Because if I don't do this, changes are observed only on the last device in the chains :(

I don't understand what the problem could be. I have a regex that works great on the regex builder site, but in my patch it doesn't work quite right, ignoring some matches.

I found a free max4live sequencer and would like to add a feature that allows me to save multiple sequencing pattern setups

Later, I would like to add other features (playing sequences backwards for example, controlling the velocity, etc.).

The objective being to have unprecedented professional gameplay, I would like to find a collaborator to work on the development of this virtual machine.

In the end, I would like the sequencer to resemble that of an hardware device, a groove box like Elektron Digitatk, but much better :) and that it would be very easy to edit the patterns in Ableton Live.

If you know of a more complete free sequencer, please let me know. It will be easier to develop one from this one.

Ps: I like the gameplay the above max4live device, inspired by Elektron, but we cannot do automation in Ableton Live. That is to say that you cannot save the settings of different patterns or modulate the parameters of the different patterns in the arrangement view of Ableton Live.

Hi, I'm trying to find a way to extract the key from the file name, bypassing all min/maj characters, but allowing # and b. 

A couple of file name examples: sample_F#_one_shot.wav of sample_oneshot_F#maj.wav

I came up with a 2 step system using [regexp]. In the first step I find the key with symbols around it, for example: 

Something like: [regexp (?:[^a-gA-G#b]|^)([A-G](?:#|b)?(?:m(?:in(?:or)?)?|M(?:aj(?:or)?)?))(?:[^a-zA-Z#bd]|$)]

The second step is to simply get rid of all the characters, leaving only # and b in the key using another [regexp].

Problem: In the first step I am unable to achieve high accuracy in isolating the key with symbols. 

Question: Perhaps there is an easier way to do this?
