Dear all,
we are please to announce that we have just released the new version of our package bach: automated composer's helper.
It's a major update, containing a lot of new features and bug fixes. You won't find it on Max's Package Manager, because we don't consider it a fully mature version yet, but we thought it was worth sharing it anyway.
You can download freely the package (along with the just-released new version of cage and the first official version of dada) at the URL http://www.bachproject.net/dl/ . If you do, don't forget to have a look at the tab called "What's new in bach 0.8" of the bach.overview patch, in Max's Extras
menu.
If you are doubtful, you can read a more detailed announcement on the bach forum: http://forum.bachproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=600 .
We hope you will enjoy the new version as we do!
andrea, on behalf of the bach team

hey, dada's awesome :) i have a feature request : a 'tetrachord' interface like the one in the software Scala by Manuel Op de Coul (http://www.huygens-fokker.org/scala/snapshot3.png). I'm convinced it would fit in dada's set of exotic sequencing tools, i would do it myself if i could...

another note : when i overwrote manually the bach package installed by max package manager (version 0.7.9) in order to install the newer version downloaded from bach website (version 0.8.0.1b), dada wouldn't launch at all and red print "bach : bad installation" in max windows. Is dada not compatible with bach 0.8 yet ? or is it picky about a "proper" installation ?
