Can't install Max 8.2.2
Friends, good afternoon! I trust you're doing well. In response to a request, I'm posting this today. I get a "problem opening file for writing" notice whenever I try to install "Max 8.2.2" on my Windows 10 PC. The problem persists, despite my best efforts to install it. Is there anyone who can provide me with some advice on how to address this issue? Any ideas or recommendations would be much appreciated.
Are you installing Max for the first time or are you upgrading from a previous version? Max usually upgrades fine over an existing installation.
If you have a previous installation, or even if a previous attempt at a fresh install has failed, then I assume that there is a file on your drive somewhere that is corrupted. A simple checkdisk on the drive might find it. Otherwise, I suggest that you obtain a robust uninstaller, like IObit Uninstaller, or a deep system cleaner, like CCleaner, to erradiacate all traces of a previous installation before trying again.
Thanks for replying and the valuable suggestions also. Maybe you are right. Because, after disabling the antivirus and after that download then fresh install has been successful. Somehow, the antivirus corrupted the installation file. And this information I found from this link after searching Google today.
