I posted yesterday about an update on a different post . Cycling 74 removed the post. I thought for a moment that maybe I forgot to click the button to post the post. But then I opened on my phone and the post was there when web page opened leftover from yesterday and instantly auto refreshed to - post is gone. 

Why would 74 remove a post? without sending a massage. No violation of policies. 

Just a boring sharing update to some stuff someone might find useful.

hi everyone im kind of desperate max simply doesent load 

looking at the Windows Event Viewer, the application crash generates an 0xc0000005 (Access Violation) error code referencing ntdll.dll 0xc0000005

i tried to reinstall max compleately, uninstall all external audio drivers, switched to another microsoft account , rename the %AppData%\Cycling '74 max 9 folder, and rebooted an infinite amount of times.

Has anyone encountered this specific crash with Max on Windows? Is there a known fix, or ANITHING 

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've recently got Max 9.1.1 and I'm going through the tutorials. When I come to the mouse drawing tutorial it mentions what sounds like a useful tool: "Clue Window". The tutorial states that this can be started by selecting "Clue Window" from the "Window" menu. However, when I look at the Window menu at the top of the patcher there is no entry titled "Clue Window"! Has this either been removed or moved to somewhere else in version 9.1.1? Note that I've tried this on both a Windows 11 PC and a MacOS 15 laptop and can not find it on either.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to handle dynamic voice allocation with MC signals, and I’m wondering if 

 to store and recall different chords/sets of notes. The number of notes is not fixed — sometimes the chord contains only

The problem is that I don't want all 30 MC channels to be active/processed when the current chord only contains, say, 2 notes.

Ideally, I would like some kind of dynamic voice allocation where:

So I have a instrument using poly. inside it is a mc.generate and I want to select it's operator function from outiside poly with an attrui. I know I could use umenu e.g. but I want to have the existing long list that automatically appears upon connecting attrui to the mc.generate. 

if i connect the attrui into the poly, the attrui only seems to think i want to change poly attributes. how do i go about this? s/r doesn't work either. What would I need? Thanks!
