How do I attach a patch on the forum?
Hi, how can I attach a compressed patch so that the "copy" button appears instead of the code?
it seems to work automatic for me: don't have to do anything(no special formatters need to be added here on the forums), just 'Copy Compressed' (over your selected patch) from within Max, and then paste directly here, and it should show up automagically with the "copy" button:
Fwiw i have the same issue for about a few weeks now. No change in process from my end and i suspect changes are being made on the forum end. I hope the feature will return
Hi everyone, just for clarification:
Selecting objects in a Max patcher and then copying them via Edit => Copy Compressed
followed by pasting them in the editor of the forums should automatically create the Pasted Patch component with the copy button in the editor.
We are currently not aware of any bugs in that area. However, if that is not working for you, please give us some steps to reproduce and more detailed information incl. version info about the browser and OS you are using so we can investigate further.
Thanks
Florian
Steps to reproduce are simply copy and pasting here. Like i said nothing on my end has changed and i've been pasting patches here for a few years. Info in patch

Same for me, it used to work and a few weeks ago, it stopped working and I got the binary code as above. I didn't change anything in my system in the meantime (Windows 10, Brave browser)
Thanks!
Guess the good news are that we can reproduce on similar setups and it appears that the Clipboard Text parsing is at fault / has changed as line breaks are treated differently in certain OS and browser constellations when the data is passed to the editor.
We'll take a look at that.
Hi again,
ok we've adjusted the pasted patcher parsing and at least in our tests it resolved the issues.
If anyone who experienced the issue before could confirm that would be great and highly appreciated.
Thanks
Florian
Thanks for picking this up!
Test:
Yes, it worked! Nice...
Everything seems to be working great now!
Thank you very much for the fix!
Test:
Yup! Working for me again too!
Thanks Florian.
