Hi all,
probably I don't understand something but when I try to use start_playing function in Max for live together with the property current_song_time, to define the play starting point, the property current_song_time don't have any effect. The Live playback start every time from the Live "Play Start indicator".
I don't understand where is the mistake. Some one can give me some suggestion?
Thank you

I think *set current_song_time' works only after playback is started.

Thank Broc you for your replay,

I make a research in the forum and for this I already test sending before the playback command and after the current_song_time but often, the first time after I change current_song_time value, the play start from the Play Start indicator...
More suggestion?

I email to the support and the reply was:
" There currently isn't a way to use the LOM to start playing at a specific spot in the arrangement view. There is a feature request open for this at Ableton, but I can't say if or when it will be implemented. "
May be it's useful to someone.
I use the cuePoint as workaround for the problem.
