The Rpi 4B I am using does not show in the target export window. I manually added the address of the pi, but it still shows it as not connected. Wireless connection is otherwise working on the pi.

Other things I've tried to troubleshoot this issue:

Verify connection: I verified everything is correct in setup from the tutorial. Username is pi, hostname is unchanged, updated through terminal. I can SSH into the pi from my laptop and send and receive files, etc. 

Updates and installing dependencies:  I suspect it might have something to do with the way the raspberry is configured. I ran into an error for "sudo apt-get install jack_transport_link rnbo-runner-panel," which gives the error: 

"E: Unable to locate package jack_transport_link

E: Unable to locate package rnbo-runner-panel"

I have used "sudo apt-get install" as well as "sudo apt update | sudo apt upgrade" and rebooted the pi. I'm at a loss. If anyone can tell me why the pi will not show up on the target window, that would be amazing. I have puzzled over this for several days.

I created a step sequencer in RNBO using an Akai Fire midi controller as input device. The RNBO patch sends out the sequenced notes along with some sysex to control the LEDs of the midi controller. When I send the sysex out of max just from the bare RNBO patch, everything works great. But when I export it as a VST and load it in Reaper I can't get any sysex from the plugin.

I then dug some deeper and read in the Juice forum that sending sysex from a VST3 is broken. (in 

). They are saying that the “begin SysEx” byte (xF0) and the “end SysEx” byte (xF7) are not sent out. It is also said (as far as I understand) that sending those bytes twice might help. So I played around with that option and made a little tester patch to send sysex messages in different ways and also sending bytes one by one manually (attached patch).

The only thing I can get from the plugin this way is a sysex message that consists only of the F0 byte. Which led me to 

 reporting that sysex strings from RNBO patches on a raspberry pi can't be longer than three bytes. Not sure if it's the same issue, but looks a bit similar.

Also seems that when using the [sysexout] object even that single byte message isn't sent (in the Plugin, from the Max patch again it works).

I'm a bit at my wit's end. hope somebody can give me the right hint to solve this. Thanks!

I just installed the MAX 9.1.1 update, and now it won't load RNBO. I have a project that is due in 2 days.

I have two buffers, and one is used to read data with Peek in sync with the Groove~ object running the other buffer. 

So I use sync output to snapshot where I am and read Peeks. 

When I leave the RPi over night, NOT running the song, it stops working. 

I can still play the Groove~ and hear the music. But the functions, like Peek, doesn't work. This is the case even though I stop the Groove, load another file into the Buffer or move the play position. 

Seems to be a bug in Groove~ sync output? Restarting JACK makes it work again. Can I trigger a reset of the Groove object in some way instead and handle it "within-patch"?

I send a message [bang] from my JS Script to inport mur. When I use counter, I can see in the log the outport counter count from 0 to 5, but nothing from the outport drunk ...

As you can see, I simulated the [bang] message directly in my patch and print the outlet of counter and drunk, and I can see both object print integer in the console :

So the question is, why drunk works in the RNBO patch, but not once exported in json (JS export) ?

I'm new to Max and RNBO, and I need some help to understand what I do wrong.

I would like clicking a button on the website to trigger a sound from a buffer.

The audio files are loading, as are the buffers, but there seems to be a communication error with the patch <inport>.

Below is the JavaScript code, along with a screenshot of my patch.

when i'm exporting my RNBO patch in C++ the class "rnbo-binarydata" is missing in the "Common" folder.

see my configuration for exporting below.

I'm generating dependecies (there is a buffer with an IR inside my RNBO patch) and this class is necesary because in line 2 of the "nbomatic_binary.cpp" file generated ther is this code "#include "RNBO_BinaryData.h".  So when compiliing an error is returned.

I did the update for RNBO 1.4.1 and max 9.0.7

I notice when exporting an RNBO patch in C++ the "rnbo" folder is no more created.

and of course compiling the code to my daisyseed is returning an  error of missing files:
