I've been searching for a 4k video camera with programmable motorised optical zoom.

I would like to be able to have the optical zoom move between setting X and setting Y in time Z

-maybe zoom acceleration rate and exponential curve but not essential.

I don't know how good the video quality would be but found this

Seeing as this seems to be a combination of Raspberry Pi and Arduino hardware, would it be possible, with RNBO to send code to the Pi&Arduino hardware so that I can take the camera out without having to have a Macbook/Max with me and have some kind of way of changing the zoom change rate from the device itself?

I have, so far, thought of a keypad, knob/lever/fader connected to the device but any other suggestions would be welcomed.

I had initially assumed that I would have to learn code for both Pi and Arduino but I am thinking that it would save me a great deal of time if I could stick with Max/RNBO.

Im not sure I'm being as clear as I could here but hope folk get the gist

Hi. I have this delay patch I'm using for an audio plugin. When I listen to it in FL Studio, the audio that has already been fed back once becomes distorted, like white noise, when it gets fed back again. This doesn't happen when testing it in Max. This is pretty much just the patch from the delay tutorial video but with a bit more stuff.

I have a few RNBO abstractions which use a construct like:

Which allows me to reference 'argsbuf' from codebox (which doesn't otherwise allow access to variable-named buffers, AFAIC), while also allowing the possibility of re-using the same abstraction .rnbopat file with different buffer references.

This seems to work ok generally, but in one of the more nested uses of this error and can't compile the code.

Multibuffer 'argsbuf' is defined more than once with differents buffer lists.

I also believe this error to be inaccurate, as I've audited all instances of multibuffer and they have the same buffer list (#1, which is always being resolved to the same buffer name/reference).

I've tried re-creating this error using the same abstractions in various implementations and can't seem to do it, so I feel a bit lost understanding what's going on.

Does anyone have some ideas or guidance about what I could try?  Thank you.

I see the list.reg in rnbo works differently than zl.reg in max.

I am working with RNBO and sending MIDI control information to param objects where I am defining @ctlin within each param object.

I ran a test and if I have a single param object within RNBO with  @ctlin 0 no MIDI input appears on the RNBO object. If I switch it to @ctlin 1 a MIDI input appears and all is fine. If I define multiple parameter objects with different controller numbers the MIDI input appears on the RNBO object but MIDI controller 0 is still not recognised. 

Also, if I use a ctlin object within RNBO, MIDI CC 0 is recognised. This is very confusing behaviour. 

Any advice to get @ctlin 0 within the param object working? Is there any way to fix this that does not require remapping all the MIDI controllers so they start with 1? MIDI CC 0 is recognised without any issue by the ctlin object why not the param object in RNBO?

maybe some one else has started a topic but if i set up a simple delay using 

delay~ @maxsize samplerate  and a       feedback~

then record the output, the repeats are drifting and not lined up to the beat over time.

logic/reaper is set to 120bpm/48k when recording while testing.

MAX plays a short sample into RNBO and i am using the reference patch for delay~ to test.

it looks like all RNBO audio inlets are set to signal and not auto.

audio status is: core audio, 48k, i/o 64, signal 64.

if anyone else can confirm this or disprove this i would be grateful, thank you!

When I installed the Debian OS for Raspberry Pi 5 and RNBO, I can't use the pip install. The guides on cycling74 RNBO for RPi and GPIO needs python-OSC libraries for example, and I can't install it with those instructions, which makes the guides hard to follow. I have no idea how to install it in virtual environment and handle it together with RNBO?

As for preProcess and postProcess, they are private members and cannot be used without changing them to public members.
