Add effects to Midi sound

I would like add effects like reverb or delay to Midi sound. For understand better i would like recreate the same situation that there is in Ableton. In this Daw you can use Midi sound and add effects

Hi Jack,

I would recommend looking at the vst~ object. You can load your VSTs, like reverb and delay, as well as MIDI-controlled instruments like Kontakt or software synthesizers.

I agree that vst~ would be your best bet in getting the MIDI data to become MSP audio data.

But I did want to mention that reverb and delay can also be done within Max's environment as well. In fact yafr, yafr2, gen~ freeverb, gen~ foreverb, cverb~, and amxd~ ChamberVerb are all reverb objects/patchers that come with Max.
