I'm trying to launch Miraweb on Windows running Max 8. The console shows the error "Max could not launch URL. err = 1223", and I am not sure how to fix this. I'm just using the Miraweb launch that comes with the package.

Hello Braintrust -- I keep getting this error popping up in my console when I'm running a patch with Mira in it:

xebra_global: XEBListeningConnection_ListenProc: Error accepting connection: 670008 nodename nor servname provided, or not known

The connection appears to work fine, but the error pops up every several seconds, so it interferes with using my console to track output while I'm problem solving the patch. I am running the latest versions of Max and Mira on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 (it's a 2010 iMac, so I'm kind of done upgrading the OS) and iOS 9.3.5 on an iPad3.

Can anyone direct me what to do to fix this error?

I have the same issue with Max 7.3.4 on my mid-2015 MBP, El Capitain, with iOS 11.1.2 on an iPad Air 2, running MIRA 1.2.1 - it's probably trivial, but it would be good to know...

Well, years and many Max versions later (currently 8.5.3) , I'm still getting this error: xebra_global: XEBListeningConnection_ListenProc: Error accepting connection: 670008 nodename nor servname provided, or not known

Also they appears after deleting the mira patch inside.


MIRA for me as an av performer and PhD researcher, has been one of THE most helpful and liberating software devs in MAX  - because it allows us to move from numbers to gesture!

when creating 9 frames - 7 in main patcher, 2 in sub patcher Mira works good, but after

save and reopen patcher and Mira, Mira made corrupt objects and changed order of frames. Writing number to the index ... 1, 2, 3, etc. to the inspector window did not fix problem. 

I would like to ask if it is possible using frames from more patcher windows. is it nrcrssaty syntax for indexing..? MacBook Pro 2012, i7 OS X 7.5 MAX 7.3.6 MIRA

Ran into a weird Mira issue with frames in my patcher – everything's cool initially, but after saving and reopening, it's like Mira has a mind of its own, messing up objects and frame order. Tried the number trick in the inspector, no luck.

today I have the same problem, no possible to work with MIRA on iPad, POSIX error 70007 ! nobody as solution (s) please ? Time to time this pb is coming, but after restart all is ok, not now ... only with usb connection...

Since some two or three years til now, I'm not able to work with those connections, miraframe and miraweb. I've tried the cycling74 support, but they also don't know what's happening, and the way to solve this. Well, the guy who responded to my complaint. Very, very annoying. 
I guess that, being this a rare problem, they just won't work on this. 

hello Joaquim, I think I understand what is a problem, it's to working with wi-fi connection my small box Internet link in my studio (TP-LINK TL-WR902AC - routeur ). Strange because usualy he work correctly... All is ok if I'm work with my Internet box, I will test after reset all.

In my Mac, it doesn't work at all.

The color simply doesn't change on my iPad when I click the message boxes. 

Only changing their colors manually in the inspector and the color selector works. 

Am I missing something? Can some one please tell me whether this is a known bug? Has anyone found more reliable work arounds?

PS: On twitter and youtube it has been suggested that there was an update of the Mira app to version 1.3, but the most current version available in the App Store is a 1.2 version.
