i'm havin a lot of problem using a fresh installation of rnbo image 1.4.1 (

) on a raspberry pi 5. I'm using the latest Raspberry Pi imager (1.9.6) and latest version of putty 0.83

wifi auto connection as usual... I can see the pi in the list of export targets in Max (9.0.7).

when trying SSH connection, it initiates but after inserting the usual "pi" user I always receive a fatal error "No supported authentication methods available (server sent publickey)"

[update] I was using the same name of a previous installation for the pi (name.local), and changing to name2.local just worked. I would like to go back to the original name, but still searching how ;) 

[update 2/solved] problem was in key previously shared with an old installation with same hostname. for using the same hostname of a previous installation you should "forget" the old device in putty, removing a register key here: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY\SshHostKeys

I have a few RNBO abstractions which use a construct like:

Which allows me to reference 'argsbuf' from codebox (which doesn't otherwise allow access to variable-named buffers, AFAIC), while also allowing the possibility of re-using the same abstraction .rnbopat file with different buffer references.

This seems to work ok generally, but in one of the more nested uses of this error and can't compile the code.

Multibuffer 'argsbuf' is defined more than once with differents buffer lists.

I also believe this error to be inaccurate, as I've audited all instances of multibuffer and they have the same buffer list (#1, which is always being resolved to the same buffer name/reference).

I've tried re-creating this error using the same abstractions in various implementations and can't seem to do it, so I feel a bit lost understanding what's going on.

Does anyone have some ideas or guidance about what I could try?  Thank you.

I'm trying to load buffers in my RNBO patch. Everything works fine on Max MSP itself, but whenever I export, it doesn't play the samples on the web.  

I load the buffer : buffer~ foo @file foo.wav and I even connect a loadbang to it.

I've also used both groove~ and sample~ objects to test..

on the export, the dependency file and the export json file both entail the requirements and the wav file is created in the media folder.

We've discovered a small bug in the RNBO 

 runner that makes it so that some MIDI connections don't get saved with sets. We have a new image up on the

And finally, even if you don't upgrade your system packages, a reboot is a good idea.

In RNBO I made a synth and tried to use the pedals from the guitar pedals package, they sounded great but everytime I tried to use them in another patch they would give me a lot of errors. 

Turns out it's just the fade object they have which is not part of the current RNBO, since it is a just a smooth of the of the signal I decided to use rampsmooth~ and it worked.

I'm trying to create a stereo delay plugin using RNBO.

Now, I have two delays in the RNBO patch (one for L and one for R), and their delay time is controlled by two sets of param objects (one for ms delay and the other for bpm sync delay), one for each, so I have the flexibility to control left and right with different delay times.

Now, I would like to have the possibility to switch to a "link" mode, where I have only one control for both the channels.

In order to do that I created another single set of param objects to control BOTH of the delays.

Now, I need some strange switch with three inputs and three outputs:

the switch should have two states. In the first state in 1&2 and out 1&2 should be open, in 3 and out 3 should be closed. In the second state is the opposite.

Or I am crazy and there is a totally different and easier way to do this?

Got everything set up and successfully exported a RNBO patch to my local web server. It (mostly) makes sense and now I'm itching to play :)

My patch is simple: one param that opens a gate~, allowing a sine wave to play when the param is 1. The web page (see screenshot) has all the template sections, plus the one parameter named "tog", and it does work when it slides all the way to 1...hallelujah! I also added "Hello World" just to get my bearings in the HTML.

Now what I don't know is: the slider/parameter is NOT in the HTML, it's just a placeholder, so apparently params/sliders are added dynamically. No problem. The issue, though, is now I want access to that parameter. So I need to get the "Device" via JS.

I have this code from the docs that will list all parameters:

But I have to get access to the Device object first and store it in a variable....how do I do that?

Long-time Max user, but just getting started with RNBO. I am particularly interested in export for the Web.

 I have followed the directions on the Using the Web Page Template page correctly. Terminal is showing that the server is running and I have exported my very simple rnbo~ patcher to the export directory of my GitHub clone on my computer. However, when I point my web browser to the URL 

, I only get a list of the files in the directory, not my working RNBO patch. What am I missing? Thanks!
