Fairly new Max user here, mostly learning from books and online, lots of great resources but getting really stuck with the poly~ object. Was trying to build a polyphonic sampler that can play sampled notes from a midi keyboard with polyphony, trying to make something like the Structure free sampler in Pro tools. Had to go back to the absolute basics again so built a very simple poly synth with triangle, cycle and adsr inside the poly. Already running into issues, stuck notes, clicks, adsr not working, no attack time etc etc. I must be missing something quite basic... Attaching two screenshots of my patch, outside and inside the poly. Grateful for any guidance...

**My goal:** Load this MP3 file into a `[buffer~]` so I can play it back.

**What I've tried:**

1. **Direct URL to buffer~** - Doesn't work, the URLs have CORS/403 protection
2. **Node for Max with http/https modules** - Gets HTTP 403 errors from the server
3. **curl/wget via shell** - Also blocked with 403
4. **yt-dlp** - Permission and dependency issues

**My current setup:**

Hey I just wrote a patch that dumps a dict in max format, including any nested data. So if you are like me and just want to get everything out of any dict to max at once here is a solution in pure max without js.

Just send the patcher your dictionary name and it spits out the entire dictionary with nested data and arrays using max syntax.

this is super handy if you then dynamically use the forward object to distribute the data (also in the patch).

I found this really frustrating to make, especially as the gettype request does not distinguish between a dictionary and a one element array, so the work around is to reset one-element-arrays converting them to their content and removing the [] array symbols.
