Has anyone success with using midinote message in a poly~ ? i can't seme to make it happen. The documentation is not very clear, there is no example for mdiinote, just for note. I tried: (midinote 0 $1 1) into poly~ to send a $1 1 message inside one instance, followed by (midinote 0 $1 0) to stop it (where $1 is to be replaced) ; i tried (midinote $1 1) and (midinote $1 0) but no instance receives any message. What happens ?

Hello, is it possible to save all cues on a track in Ableton in a coll or something and export to file? Then reload when needed?

I made it to the point I can collect all cue times, IDs and names on a coll but I cannot find a way to add them back with their names. Is there any way you can set the name of a locator/cue in M4L?

Now, I don't use 'delay' very often but one of my devices heavily relies on this and that device no longer works. When looking into the issue at hand I noticed that delay stopped working and instead triggers an error: "delay: no such object".

Thing is: when I type in the name the autocomplete still lists 'delay'. When I have the object in place, error and all, the reference page is also still a thing. Proof of concept attached.

Can anyone reproduce this? Or is there something I overlooked, like this feature becoming deprecated or something?

Is there a way to get an arbitrary subset of samples out of a buffer~, as a list?

I've seen a number of threads about putting arbitrary data into a buffer~ -- this is going the opposite direction.

msg(start sample, num samples) --> [something~ myBufferName] --> a list of floats

 -- which could be helpful, if there is a straightforward way to convert that to a list, without user interaction.

I have found out how to spot a certain word in a text file (code) loaded into a collection. With spotting the word, I can also determine the line it is in. Now, this is how the line looks like, for example:

I like to work with snap to grid enabled and snap to objects disabled, but the issue is that it often leads to some links being curved because the inlets/outlets do not end up aligned with the grid.

Is there an option that allows to snap objects sizes and intlets/outlets to grid? (See example in the attached patcher: it would look like a combination of the cases 2 and 3).
