situation :  with [function] I change positions of a stepper motor. X120(sec), Y 40000(positions of motor). Works well. loops of 2 minutes.  

what I want : with slider (simulating a joystick) I want to change the dots of the curve simultaneously while reading the loop. In the end, I should not even look at the screen, but continuously adapt the curve with the joystick until the motor is moving conveniently. The correction is of course always executed for the next turn of the loop, that's ok for me.  After a few turns, the motor follows my requested move ... and I can do the same game on the next of the 20 motors.  

my problem : the correction does not erase the previous dots but adds the new ones keeping the old ones. How can I kick off the not wanted dot-value of the curve (but not CLEAR the whole curve) ?

If anyone has a solution, I'd be very  happy, many thanks in advance, pad

I want to use messages for Max in a standalone to be able to let my users (psychoacoustics course participants) change the color scheme, this also as part of a neuro-divergent inclusion investigation. The standard <; Max colortheme $1> does not work. I also tried replacing Max with the name of my standalone, whose name I chose the same as the name of the patch. That does not work either.

I've compiled an external object watching this 

I am using windows so some little steps are different, but I did build my object and it succeeded.

Now the problem is, when I add my external to de Documents/Max 9/Packages folder, and try to create my object i get the error "no such object"

I'm trying to get very basic serial communication going between Arduino (UNO R3) and Max/MSP (Max/MSP 8 running on MacOS Sonoma). But without any results. When I open the Serial monitor in Arduino (which I of course closed again when testing things through Max...) it works just fine, so I'm assuming the connection can't be the issue. Does anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong here? Really hope someone will be able to assist...

I'm using the jweb mediapipe for eyetracking and I'm using 12 floating numbers from its list.

each floating data contains 6 numbers after the dot that are rapidly changing. how can i smooth this change so any change at the 4 5 6 place after the dot will not pass?

I have a patch saved as a project that uses VIZZIE and BEAP modules. 

Problems I'm facing and some I have solved are. 

Consolidating project includes media files in project folder but the files are not loaded to PLAYR *Solved.  I found if I save a Patcher Snapshot the files are included.

Not all VIZZIE parameters seem to be saved with snapshots.  E.g Even though the operation I want  +m is shown in MIXFADR operation selection dropdown menu, it has to be reselected after project load for the correct effect. Might be a hack but I found that a fader outputting 0.16 into Operator Mode Input chooses +m. But still does not initialise to this value even with a loadbang. 

CV LFo/LFO2 do not run on project start. I have to toggle Audio On/Off. Whereas LFO runs on startup but does not offer the same waveforms as aforementioned.  *Solved. Loadbang -- Toggle -- adc~ 

Max console output shows :- jit.pwindow: name 5249.ctx already in use.

I've been working these past weeks on a patch to extend our Soundcraft MTK 12 mixing table to control movements of percussive souds on a quadraphonic system.

On first tryouts, I realise the mute buttons of the mixing table don't affect any of its channels anymore, as they normally do when connected to Reaper as a soundcard for our recordings. It's probably a very basic issue but I didn't find any documentation on the subject yet.

The patch uses adc~ and dac~ with matrixes, counters and onset detection externals by Rodrigo Constanzo to (supposedly) give each channel independant movement across the speakers.

I was wondering if anyone here had to deal with mixing tables' controls on Max and could share tips and hints on this topic here.

ok, asking for help, on the rnbo. on cycling's webpage there is a small section about rnbo and web audio, https://cycling74.com/products/rnbo ....a very cool little interactive and something that i could use, [but, in a different context]. firstly, is there a help file with the contents of the demonstration, just so i can look into how its built, or can anyone put me in the right direction on getting a basic thing happening for web content and rnbo web audio.

at the end of the day, i would like to create a web area [box] that could trigger audio snippets by the user, but i have no idea where to start. hope someone can help or put me in the right direction.
